With this tour covering various temples of South India, one may visit Tirupati, the picturesque pilgrimage centre of South India and the city of seven pagodas, Mahabalipuram. See the rice bowl of Tamil Nadu, Thanjavur. Also visit the famous Chola Temple of Brihadeeshwara - a world heritage monument.

Tour Programme: 13 Nights / 14 Days

Day 01: Arrival Chennai
Greet and meet by our representative at airport or railway station on arrival. Transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Chennai – Tirupati
Transfer to Tirupati (by road 140 km in 3 hours) after breakfast at hotel. This is a city of temples and pilgrims. Check in at hotel on arrival. In the afternoon proceed for Darshan of Lord Balaji. Overnight stay at Tirupati.

Day 03: Tirupati – Chennai
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Chennai (by road 140 km - 3 hours). Check in at hotel in Chennai. Relax in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04: Chennai – Mahabalipuram
After breakfast drive to Mahabalipuram (by road 58 km - 1 hr). Check in at hotel on arrival. Sightseeing of Mahabalipuram in the afternoon - famous for the seven pagodas. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Mahabalipuram
After breakfast, proceed for morning sight seeing. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Mahabalipuram – Tanjore
Leave for Tanjore after breakfast at hotel (by road 309 km - 7 hours). Reach and relax at hotel. Drive to Tanjore also known as Thanjavur. In the afternoon (the rice bowl of Tamil Nadu). Go out for Tanjore sight seeing. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07: Tanjore - Trichy
After breakfast at hotel full day excursion of Trichy. Visit the ancient temples dedicated to Lord Ganapathi, 434 steps cut out into the rock side and interspersed with shrines, lead to the temple. Return to hotel and relax. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08: Tanjor
See the beautiful Chola Temple of Brihadeeshwara after breakfast at hotel. Relax in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09: Tanjore – Madurai Leave for Madurai (by road 183 km - 4 hours). Visit Karaikudi (Chettinad) on the way. Transfer to hotel and relax on arrival. Overnight stay at Madurai.

Day 10: Madurai
Breakfast at hotel. Freshen up and visit the famous Madurai Meenakshi temple (dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering Gopurams) in the afternoon. Watch the evening aarti at Meenakshi Temple - the highlight of the tour. Overnight stay at Madurai.

Day 11: Rameshwaram
After breakfast full day excursion to Rameshwaram, a city of swell and gentle sand dunes, embellished with the delicacy of casurina trees and stark palms. Return to Madurai by evening. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12: Madurai – Trivandrum
After breakfast drive to Trivandrum ( 264 km - 6 hour) and reach late evening. Relax at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 13: Trivandrum
After breakfast tour to visiting the Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Napier Museum, Chitralayam Arts Gallery, Zoological gardens, Reptile house, Observatory and Kanakakunnu Palace. Overnight stay at Trivandrum.

Day 14: Departure From Trivandrum After break fast transfer to the airport or railway station to connect next destination.
