Day 1 : Colombo
Arrival transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free.

Day 2 : Colombo
Morning sightseeing of Colombo which includes the Fort city center, Pettah - the busy market place, Buddhist temple, Town Hall and the Cinnamon Gardens. Afternoon free.

Days 3 : Sigiriya
Morning transfer via Polonnaruwa, the medieval capital of Sri Lanka, to Sigiriya. Here you will see the ruins of Palaces, Shrines, temples and dagobas (ancient shrines), built by King Parakarma.

Day 4 : Sigiriya
Morning visit to the rock fortress of Sigiriya, a World Heritage Site. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 5 : Sigiriya
Morning drive to the celebrated ancient city of Anuradhapura, founded in the 4th century BC. For 1,400 years this was the capital of Sri Lanka and it contains fabulous Buddhist shrines and relics. Late afternoon at leisure.

Day 6 : Kandy
Morning departure of kandy via the rock caves at Dambulla, which are over 2,000 years old. Continue to Sri Lanka Beautiful capital city of Kandy. Late afternoon free.

Day 7 : Kandy
Morning sightseeing of scenic Kandy, set on the shores of a beautiful artificial Lake. Visit the Pinnewala Elephant Orphanage, the Temple of the Tooth Relic and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Enjoy an evening traditional cultural performance.

Day 8 : Nuwara Eliya
Early morning drive through valleys and forest to hill station of Nuwara Eliya, stopping enroute at a plantation. Afternoon free for individual activities like hiking, golf or boating, in scenery reminiscent of the English country side.

Day 9 : Colombo
Morning free. Afternoon transfer to Colombo, via the St. Claire and Devon water falls.

Day 10 : Tour Ends
Transfer to airport for departure home destination.
